President Poincare Lilac features showy panicles of fragrant violet flowers with lavender overtones rising above the foliage in mid spring, which emerge from distinctive burgundy flower buds. The flowers are excellent for cutting. It has forest green deciduous foliage. The heart-shaped leaves do not develop any appreciable fall color.

If a tree or shrub purchased from Chalet-nursery dies within a year of planting, you are eligible to receive a Chalet-nursery plant warranty. Specifically:

If planted by yourself: 50% of the plant's purchase amount in the form of plant replacement.
If planted by Chalet-nursery: 100% of the plant's purchase amount in the form of plant replacement, along with free replanting.

The warranty pertains to a one-time replacement and requires proof of purchase issued by Chalet-nursery.
