Jim Dandy Winterberry has dark green foliage throughout the season. The pointy leaves do not develop any appreciable fall color. Neither the flowers nor the fruit are ornamentally significant.

Jim Dandy Winterberry is a dense multi-stemmed deciduous shrub with a shapely oval form. Its average texture blends into the landscape, but can be balanced by one or two finer or coarser trees or shrubs for an effective composition.

This shrub will require occasional maintenance and upkeep, and is best pruned in late winter once the threat of extreme cold has passed. It has no significant negative characteristics.

If a tree or shrub purchased from Chalet-nursery dies within a year of planting, you are eligible to receive a Chalet-nursery plant warranty. Specifically:

If planted by yourself: 50% of the plant's purchase amount in the form of plant replacement.
If planted by Chalet-nursery: 100% of the plant's purchase amount in the form of plant replacement, along with free replanting.

The warranty pertains to a one-time replacement and requires proof of purchase issued by Chalet-nursery.
