Thick dark green carpet of foliage makes an ideal groundcover in small places like fairy gardens, rock gardens and in between stepping stones. Dense, needle-like foliage spreads slowly to form a mat and will tolerate light foot traffic. Teeny tiny white flowers dance above the foliage in spring. For best performance provide an evenly moist, but never soggy, loose, compost-rich soil.
