Kentucky Coffeetree features subtle panicles of lightly-scented white pea-like flowers hanging below the branches in late spring. It has forest green deciduous foliage. The large bipinnately compound leaves do not develop any appreciable fall color. However, the fruit can be messy in the landscape and may require occasional clean-up. The rough dark brown bark adds an interesting dimension to the landscape.

If you decide to plant it yourself, and the plant dies within a year, our warranty will cover 50% of the original price in the form of a plant replacement. If Chalet-nursery plants the tree or shrub for you, then we will cover 100% of the price paid in the form of plant replacement as well as planting at no additional cost.

If a tree or shrub purchased from Chalet-nursery dies within a year of planting, you are eligible to receive a Chalet-nursery plant warranty. Specifically:

If planted by yourself: 50% of the plant's purchase amount in the form of plant replacement.
If planted by Chalet-nursery: 100% of the plant's purchase amount in the form of plant replacement, along with free replanting.

The warranty pertains to a one-time replacement and requires proof of purchase issued by Chalet-nursery.
