Hamamelis × intermedia hybrids are crosses between Japanese witch hazel (H. japonica) and Chinese witch hazel (H. mollis). They are somewhat coarse, loosely-branched, medium to large, deciduous shrubs that typically grow 12-20’ tall. They are particularly noted for their spidery, often fragrant, mid- to late winter flowers which appear before the spring foliage emerges.

If a tree or shrub purchased from Chalet-nursery dies within a year of planting, you are eligible to receive a Chalet-nursery plant warranty. Specifically:

If planted by yourself: 50% of the plant's purchase amount in the form of plant replacement.
If planted by Chalet-nursery: 100% of the plant's purchase amount in the form of plant replacement, along with free replanting.

The warranty pertains to a one-time replacement and requires proof of purchase issued by Chalet-nursery.
